Effect of Tubercin-3 on Serum Protein Electrophoretic Patterns of X-Irradiated Cervical Cancer Cases

Abstract

|
From June, 1975, to May, 1976, the electrophoretic patterns of serum protein among. the 25 cases of cervical cancer during the treatment with X-irradiation have-been studied. To observe the effect of Tubercin-3 an the patterns of serum electrophoresis the patients were divided into 2 groups : X-irradiation and X-irradiation -with Tubercin-3 treatment. The hematological analysis were also carried out before and after X-irradiation. The serum total protein and routine hematological analysis of all these 25 cases showed within normal limit during experimental period of the time. The serum electrophoresic patterns of 1.0 cases of good prognosis and .Tubercin-3 treated 11 cases were un-remarkable. Abnormal raises of a-and ; -globulin fractions were observed in the 4 cases of poor prognosis.
